Another overdue update...!

We are at the moment finishing up the last few songs to fill up an album, having finally assembled an actual band Wow! to play the music, we hope to start rehearsing in a couple 'weeks time, then to record... something... with loads of noise and sublime beauty in it.

Ah well, it only took like... four years? :D (Big Grin)

Just a quick update... The old journal entry was just too embarassingly old. Shakes Head In Dismay

There is life...
There is hope...

We did a few small shows last year, which were very inspiring.
Though we have no new songs recorded we have half a ton half-ready material lying around waiting to be assembled...

I sold my soul to robotics & artifical intelligence a few years ago, then repented my ways and founded a software consulting company instead. Puzzled
Hopefully that will pay off as more time for music... someday...

Too little time, too much to do. But this site definitely deserves more than one login every 17 weeks. Rant

To all those that have shouted without a proper thank-you: Bowing Down Blows Kiss
You all rock. Sorry!

First of all: Huge thanks to everybody for some very encouraging and constructive feedback!
As all the songs uploaded so far are still work-in-progress, your comments are definitively helpful when we're going to do the final demo versions.

Especially cool to see the most serious flaws so precisely pinpointed and dissected - Trying to bury the programmed drums (which I subconsciously hate ;) (Wink) ) in the mix... Or mixing with headphones instead of real monitors just to mention some...
But if you have more... Bring'em on! This is just great.

On the downside; Making/Recording new material has dragged on quite a bit... Too much to do and too little time & inspiration.
In my opinion there's two ways a depressive mood can affect your creativity;
Either it pushes the limits of your imagination, or it brings it to a grinding halt...
Lately it's been mostly the latter Bleh.

...But on to more urgent matters: Your mind is desperately need of a conscience enhancement. Here's the prescription: Spellbound

Check out the WYMN radio @ http://ashleighj.dmusic.net/playlists/20110
We're the only 'metal' band on there, wohoooo!
(Which really makes me think of how to classify our music, I've always thought of it as 'wussy-metal', but maybe we should call it 'feminine-metal' or something? :p (Joking) Any ideas? )

Some cool DMusic bands I've come across in my first month here, that definitely deserves to be heard more:

Hot! Baboon Rising: http://baboonrising.dmusic.com
"Biocyber virus infection" HiFi
You think you've heard the last of the quasi-hi-tech computer lyrics of the eighties?
No no... think again, they're back with a vengeance...

Hot! Darkflight: http://ivoiliev.dmusic.com
"Scathless" HiFi
Dark... and dark... (CrescentShadow, think you'd like this one)

Hot! Rhythm Street: http://pmscpc.dmusic.com
"Hard Times" HiFi
"Dirty Voices" HiFi

Hot! Eagan Kid: http://eagankid.dmusic.com
"Fallen Angel" HiFi

...And just in case you're a newcomer with no clue of where to go (yet stopped by this page somehow.. how?), look here and not at the top20 list:
